
Wellpoint/nextRx discovers efficiencies in the most demanding direct mail campaigns
The Challenge
Wellpoint/nextRx ran a large consumer direct mail program that included tight time frames, multiple markets, and HIPAA-protected personal data. They needed robust methods to deliver the right messages to the right targets, all while maintaining privacy.
The Solution
With full print on demand (POD) capabilities, including bindery, lettershop production, and finishing, Aero managed the entire printing and distribution process. We hosted and processed protected data with special source code uniquely appended to each record to ensure accuracy and to comply with all privacy requirements. Due to the sporadic nature of these high-volume campaigns, we were able to flex labor to meet demand, even with special labor requirements necessary to facilitate variable print on demand. And to further improve efficiency for Wellpoint/nextRx, we built inline quality checks to validate client data and eliminate duplicates.
The Results
Aero processed records accurately, on-time, and with no surprises, according to client and industry strict requirements. Furthermore, Aero’s quality control process has corrected errors that never reached the field, resulting in 100% client satisfaction.
