Aero Fulfillment 40th Anniversary
The people behind Aero

Meet the Aero Fulfillment Team

Forty years of Aero has been built by the people who show up every day. Over the next 12 months, we're sharing their stories — in their own words.

Kim Meyers
VP of Client Experience, Quality, & PMO

Kim started at Aero as an Account Coordinator when Mason was the only facility and carbon copy forms ran the warehouse. Today she leads Client Experience, Quality, and PMO — and she's never stopped learning. Her early work with P&G shaped Aero's quality program, and two of those partnerships are still going 20+ years later. Much of Aero's QBR template was born out of her collaboration with P&G Professional in 2005 — elements the team still relies on today.

"There is always something to figure out, a problem to solve, an ask that seems daunting and impossible — we always figure it out. We are always working to move forward."

What's kept her at Aero all these years? Simple: she's never stopped learning. Clients challenge the team, competitors push them forward, and the industry keeps evolving. There's always something to figure out — and they always do.

"Personally, I have a feeling of pride — to be part of a company that has such a long history and that I have been part of its continued growth."

Fun fact: Kim wanted to be a writer when she was young. She won two Young Author awards — one in 2nd grade and one in 5th grade, where she narrated her story on a cassette tape. Cutting edge at the time.

Emily Jones-Gmerek, Billing Specialist Lead at Aero Fulfillment Services

Emily Jones-Gmerek
Billing Specialist Lead

Emily started at Aero in data entry — timesheets and backup front desk — at the Fairfield facility, sitting near the main entrance when there were only four account executives at that location. The warehouse break area was in the same spot as today, but it wasn't enclosed yet. The client base was around 20 clients, but several had large promotions that would fill the aisles with hundreds of pallets.

"Looking back, it's been incredible to see how much the operation has grown and evolved since those days."

Emily has stayed because Aero created an environment where she feels valued and trusted — with the opportunity to grow, take on new responsibilities, and work alongside great people.

"That consistency, combined with the relationships I've built, has kept me committed over time."

One of her proudest moments: a 2015 multi-location fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where associates contributed to jars labeled with their supervisors' names. The four supervisors who raised the most were duct-taped to a wall and pied with shaving cream. It raised meaningful donations — and brought the whole company together.

Cheri Crabtree, Client Experience Manager at Aero Fulfillment Services

Cheri Crabtree
Client Experience Manager

Cheri joined Aero as a temporary production associate when mail ruled and there was no WMS in sight — a very different operation from what Aero is today. She made her way from production lead into Client Experience, making the transition right in the middle of a WMS implementation. Challenging? Yes. Exciting? Absolutely.

"No day is the same — every workday has its own experiences and challenges. I always joke and say I love chaos. For the record, I do, but only sometimes."

One of her proudest accomplishments: transitioning from Production Lead to Client Experience Rep in the middle of a WMS implementation. It was one of the hardest things she'd done at Aero — and one of the most rewarding.
